Two cornerstone buildings in a project aimed at turning Young Circle into a center of art and culture have gone into foreclosure, leaving taxpayers on the hook for at least $1.6 million in mortgages.The Young Circle Garage, bought with an $800,000 loan from the city three years ago, goes on the auction block May 17, and the Hollywood Bread Building is being foreclosed while owing at least $800,000 to the city, according to court records. Yesterday after leaving the office at Keyes Ft Lauderdale I decided to go take a sneak peak at Donald Trump and Jorge Perez, of the Related Groups, latest joint venture, Trump Hollywood. I was not disappointed. Trump Hollywood will be a magnificent glass and concrete tower coming out of white sand to stand 40 stories over looking the Atlantic Ocean. Glass and concrete does little to make me think of home but some how these moguls have pulled it of, standing in the show room I could easily picture myself living there.   For several months we`ve been working with a great couple. Recently married Johnathan and Barbara are two awesome people. I was on a radio show in Miami a few months back discussing current Real Estate conditions and exalting how "The market is ripe for 1st time home buyers!". As of today, 1/9/07, there are 200 single family homes for sale in Hollywood east of US1 and the Intracoastal Waterway.  That inventory is down from form a high of 268 in the summer of 2006.  the traditional amount of listings available before the Real estate market went crazy was about 180.  SO guys, we are approching a normal level of inventory!  That is great news.  There has been increased activity at our Open Houses and increased sign calls too!  I think we might be near the bottom and poised for a turn around.  Any comments? 01/09/2007
