SUNRISE TO SUNSET Just about 15 minutes south of Fleming Island is the sleepy little town of Green Cove Springs, the County Seat of Clay County and once a bustling tourist destination. The Sunrise to Sunset Restaurant is a welcome addition to the list of Green Cove restaurants. Housed in a former Waffle House, the decor is similar but more cheerful, and the menu certainly expands beyond Waffle House fare. To add to the mix, there is entertainment on weekends. This Saturday from 5-7 PM there will be live music outside in the parking lot, weather permitting, or inside if it is raining (which has been a good probability for the last month).  Neighborhood Of The Week: Glen Haven Green Cove Springs, Fl Glen Haven is located in the Lake Asbury area in Green Cove Springs. This neighborhood started around 2000 and was completed around 2006. With close to only 200 homes, you can get to know your neighbors and enjoy that cozy feeling of a small community. Dad's Auto Shop in Green Cove Springs Florida   I love the mom and pop places the best, and was lucky enough to be referred to Dad's Auto Shop. I got an oil change for a great price. While I was there, had a chance to chit chat with the owners, Mike and Jill Shalley. Good people! Last week, I had to have some front end repairs done. Yeah me! :( I stopped to get an estimate from one shop, then went over to Dad's Auto Shop. Not only was the estimate less at Dad's, Mike also was very thorough on determining what the issue was. While the other shop jacked my car up to get a better look, Mike did that, plus took both wheels off and found out what all the issues were.
