  Foreclosures in Timber Ridge You will almost certainly be seeing more foreclosures in Timber Ridge.  The carnage continues.  This morning it was announced that in October Lee County had the second highest foreclosure filings in the country.  As long as this continues there will continue to be homes ridiculously priced at about half the cost of new construction.  While this area still leads the nation the raw numbers of foreclosures are down to about 30% of what they were at the peak.  Take a look and see if there are any foreclosures in Timber Ridge at this time.  Chances are that there are.  This provides a unique opportunity to purchase a great home in a fantastic community at prices not seen since the 90s.       Short Sales in Timber Ridge Searching for Short Sales in Timber Ridge?  They are not too hard to find these days.  Timber Ridge was not built at the peak of the real estate market but just prior to the peak.  Consequently, anyone needing to sell is upside down and is forced to short sell.  These homes are generally well cared for and priced unbelievably low.  Take a look for yourself at the short sales in Timber Ridge.  So what is the downside you ask?  Short sales can take 3 to 6 months and even longer and some never close.  I don't know about you but when I finally decide to buy a home, search for the perfect one,  and find it - I want it.  Not in 6 months or a year, and I certainly don't want to wait a year just to find out that I can't have it at all.  So why does anyone do it...

Bank Owned Homes in Timber Ridge There has been a steady stream of Bank Owned Homes in Timber Ridge.  As a result, there have been some very good deals to be had.  The fact that Timber Ridge does not have amenities within the community slows down the activity and has the effect of driving down the price.  The question is what is your position on amenities?  Do you really need a pool of your own, a pool in your subdivision, and a pool in the master development?  The next question do you want to pay to maintain all of those pools?  I for one can live without any of them.  I like to look at pools but beyond that I can live without them all together.  I am a boater so the nuisence of maintaining a pool is something I can live without.  We are all different.  All of this leads me to my origi...
