Clearwater Beach Florida Market Report for July 2011 shows some interesting sales! There were 5 Single Family Homes that closed during July 2011 on Clearwater Beach and the most expensive of these was a 4 bedroom 4 bath waterfront home on Island Estates that was 3250 sq ft in size. This fabulous home has a new 16000 lb boat lift as well as a 8500 lb lift and space to park a 70-80 ft yacht right out back! Listed at $899,000 this home sold after being on the market for 517 days for $830,000. On the lower end of this list we find a bank owned 3 bedroom 1 bath bungalow with 1024 sq ft of living space located only TWO BLOCKS from the white sands of Clearwater Beach! They ranged from a high list price of $1,200,000 that sold after 297 days on the market for $950,000. This home has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 1378 sq ft of living space, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico!At the other end of the spectrum is a bank owned 2 bedroom, 2 bath home with 1628 sq ft that was listed for $246,905 and sold for $234,800 after 78 days on the market.On average for the first half of 2011 single family homes were on the market for 141 days. In the category of townhomes, villas and condos there were 177 sales. Clearwater Marine Science Aquarium is located on Island Estates in Clearwater. It is also home to Winter, the dolphin that was rescued and lost it's tail. This beautiful little dolphin is the star of the movie DOLPHIN TALE, which was shot right here in our own Clearwater Marine Science Aquarium! I cannot wait for this movie, staring our own WINTER THE DOLPHIN as well as Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd, to be released this coming September! Yes, it is April and summer is here on Clearwater Beach! I will be out on the beaches most of the day and dressed accordingly....ponytail, sandals and baseball cap to combat the heat. Yes, this is what it looks like if you take off over the waters of the Gulf of Mexico here on Clearwater Beach....(and you thought this was going to be about airport control towers, didn't you?!) The Brown Pelican is an amazing bird!
