I just returned from a great evening hosted by Dadny Eason.  We all managed to squense into this picture. First of all, it was great to see all of the regulars from Debbie Gartner's Westchester Meetup last week.  This group included  Debbie Gartner, Joanna Cohlan, Hillary Sheppard, and Judy Mederiros. Our legendary Phil Faranda showed up with a tie--always working.  It was also good to see John Anello who promises to be a more active blogger. It was great seeing George Souto  and I finally got to meet Joe Petrowsky. I had a chance to meet Lisa Friedman and her dog Sadie.  They may have traveled the farthest from Stowe, Vermont. I didn't have a chance to meet everyone but I will look forward to that next time. 08/14/2014

Relay For Life - Giving My All To Cancer Survivors in Wilton, CT 06897   Cancer - a scary word at best!!!   How many of us have been touched by cancer with family, friends, or acquaintances?    It is a mean disease that we all hope can be eradicated for once and for all! Is There A Good Use For Old Balloons?   Whenever I conduct an Open House for a listing, whether the home is large or small, single family or condominium, I always bring balloons to it. I love to use them to attach to signs to grab folks’ attention to come in, but I also love to have the balloons in the house. That way, it looks festive and welcoming.   If families come with children, it’s a great gift for the kids, and an ice breaker for the adults, if they are uncomfortable about being approached. However, there have recently been some open houses that have not had any children come at all.
