I could add this to what I wrote last week.  I mentioned that we would be taking a family vacation of the eastern shore of Connecticut.We arrived today in a great beach house with lots of room.  This best part of this is just spending time together.As you can see grandson Max is enjoying it already. We have some beach time planned.  And next we will be boating on the Long Island Sound.  George Souto gave me some names of restaurants although we also brought plenty of food.  06/15/2021

  The Valley Shore YMCA Shoreline Slimdown Challenge is a competition that combines fun, exercise, and nutrition all into one challenge aimed at losing weight, and living healthy.  The challenge begins January 25, 2015 and ends April 12, 2015. The Shoreline Slimdown Challenge consists of teaming up with another person for 12 weeks in which they will compete for points (kind of like ActiveRain) during the 12 week challenge.  Teams will earn points based on the combined weight lose of team members at weekly weigh-ins, completing bonus challenges, weekly work-outs, and participation in special activities and clinics. Westbrook CT Taxes are going down in 2011!  The town recently voted for a modest decrease in taxes for the coming year. The town was able to reduce taxes due to careful planning and budget management.  The town didn't have massive layoffs.  Services haven't been cut. The budget even increased slightly this year.  But the town was able to use a budget surplus from previous years to offset the budget increases.  This keeps home ownership in Westbrook affordable.
