Jimmy’s of Watertown, CT     Not to knock more popular establishments like Dunkin Donuts or IHOP, but seriously, they are a dime a dozen. While they may have great selections of breakfast items to choose from, they are too ubiquitous and lack a certain…charm.   There aren’t too many places where I would go out for breakfast, since the local Howard Johnson’s restaurant shut down about a decade ago. Even Friendly’s doesn’t cut it (although the family has other ideas).   A friend of mine took me out to   Jimmy’s of Watertown   last year…and I fell in love with the place just like that.
