It's a very large league and monopolize the course each week. The Fall Colors are Here in Central CT, 5We are about done, at least for the colors at this location in southern Litchfield County. The Fall Colors are Here in Central CT, 3I noted a significant difference in colors this week and although I'm not certain, it could be reaching peak.The lake was again primed but a lot more of the restaurant building could be seen this week, where it was shielded by the trees, leaves last week.And the trees on the opposite side of the pond were just as spectacular.I took the walk up to the second hole as it offers a vista not only of the fairway but as the mountain on the opposite side of the valley.Above photo is the 5th fairway looking up to the green where the last week's photos were looking down from the green.Photo below is the 6th fairway and already a lot of the colors are gone.I walked to the top nine where the views were different and fairways wider.Above photo is part of the ... 10/22/2023

The Fall Colors are Here in Central CTWith all the heat and rain we had this summer the thought was what would it do to the leaf colors. It's Definitely Fall in ConnecticutI had to take a drive up to the Northwest end of the state yesterday, and the sun shining on the trees forced me to stop and take a couple of photos.As I was driving back to my home, I purposely made a detour through areas I knew would offer views of the rolling hills to see the stage of the colors.Time to start my fall color progression at the golf course.
