This is a Buyers market, Time to buy. Interest rates are low and prices are low. No time to hesitate. The buyer's competitor is another buyer. My point is that when a buyer takes its time and waits for the price to drop more, there will be another buyer that will come and buys the property. Do not hesitate

July 2007 - Trumbull, CT makes Money Magazine's 2007 list of "The Best Places to Live" - Trumbull ranked #68.  The list included only towns with populations above 7,000 and below 50,000.  It is based on several things, including crime rates, housing affordability to ambience and leisure opportunities.  Trumbull is located very conveniently to several major highways for those who are commuters to lower Fairfield County cities where many residents work, like Stamford, Norwalk and even New York City.  Trumbull has a population of around 36,000 and is mostly residential.  The average price for a single family home for 2007 as of June 30th is:  $524,978 (as per Consolidated MLS).  This is great news for Trumbull for so many reasons.  People want to live in towns that are recognized on this l...

WOOHOO!  Trumbull in Fairfield County, along with other Connecticut towns Rocky Hill (#35), Somers (#53) and North Haven (#86), was included in Money Magazine's 2007 list of "The Best Places to Live" (pop. 7,500 - 50,000).  It's no wonder, with Trumbull's focus on providing not only the best in essentials for families (public safety, education...), but the warmth and intangibles that come from the parks system and events such as Trumbull Day (Patty Smyth notwithstanding).  I believe this is the environment families and couples looking to start one want!  So Realtors, you've got another valuable tool in your belt!  Happy selling!  Call me if you need to stage any houses!

Only sixty miles from Manhattan.  Most of the residents travel the I-95, Route 25/8, and Merritt Parkway highways to work.  Trumbull,Connecticut has planned carefully to keep its country feel.  With a total of almost 1,200 acres set aside as recreational and open space, a natural landscape is a very important part of Trumbull's quality of life.  One third of Trumbull is half-acre zoning, while most of the remainder is one-acre zoned. Single-family homes make up 97% of local housing.   The town maintains 18 recreations parks including school facilities.  Outdoor recreations opportunities at municipal areas include an 27-hole golf course, lighted tennis courts, two natural swimming ponds, three pools, athletic fields, hiking trails, and picnic sites.  Two of the town's lakes are private ...
