Did you know Mesa Verde in Spanish means GREEN TABLE? We visited Mesa Verde National Park (CO) today and discovered an amazing piece of history! Amazing in that the Ancestral Pueblo people built their homes beneath overhanging cliffs some 700 years; from A.D. 600 to A.D. 1300.
