Running in Westminster, Colorado - Westminster Real Estate It's a beautiful sunny New Year's Eve here in Westminster. I moved to Westminster last May because I'm a runner and Westminster has more miles of trails than any other city in Colorado. I live in the Sunstream neighborhood next to Standley Lake and the Big Dry Creek trail. I love how Westminster has miles of trails right out my back door with different surfaces to run on, including gravel, concrete, and dirt. On my runs in Westminster, I've seen a bald eagle, foxes, coyotes, and a rattle snake, which I almost stepped on because I wasn't paying attention. I love to run to the bald eagle viewing area in Standley Lake Regional Park because it's beautiful and you feel like you're really out in nature even though you haven't left Wes... 12/31/2009

I am so excited. !!!! Today, we going to a closing ,on a Short Sale, that we’ve been working for several months ... We have been in and out...up and down, twisted all around , yet we are closing today ...We have the HUD ..ready to go...We are going to a closing today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....Halleluiah !!!!! In my short career....30 years ..I have found the true value of having a great handyman around. I have had several occasions, to need a quick fix on a property, and often on my rentals. I am truly blessed to have a great handyman to help me out in a fix.... I highly suggest to every Realtor to have a great handyman that can do electrical, plumbing and general construction... The thing you can do for your handyman ...when calling him...be organized .. have all the information available...ie..name, address, phone and time frame... he (she) will appreciate the organization.. Install rollout trays and drawer trays, you'll love them and so will the buyer. Re-stain those cabs and or touch up. Get rid of ALL on the counter tops.... There's a lot of people with that same idea, hoping to cash in on the $8,000 tax credit for first time buyers, or $6,500 for next-time buyers.  Although this is the shopping season, one might  ask their loan officer ...Is it a good idea to lock in their interest rate? Typically , the rates are stable in Jaunuary, yet  this could be not .. this January. As the Congress and House toil over the insurance bill, the outcome may have an impact on rates. If you are happy with that rate, perhaps this is not the time to shop. Perhaps this is the tiime to lock.... The look on the Realtors' face......
