The Princess Tea Party was last Saturday March 23 from 10:30am to 12:00pm.  The event sold out and there were no more tickets available at the door, so this entry into the Highlands Ranch property management blog comes a little late.  Usually we are ahead of the curve on these types of events, especially ones happening in our backyard.  All those that attended please send in the photos from the event.  The event page each year updates with the last year’s event pictures.  This allows you to track how the event progresses and is better each year, by enhancing the whole feel and scenario and environment. Important Rec Center Closures needed to take account of for next week.  From April 1 to April 6 the Westridge Rec Center will be closed for annual maintenance.  You will need to go to one of the here other rec centers to get your exercise fix next week.  This annual maintenance is for the benefit of all the members of the community.  The maintenance extends to all corners of the rec center, and general tune ups and cleaning will be taking place.  The outdoors batting cages will remain open during this time, however.  Soy those of you looking to get a jump on spring batting practice you will be in luck.  And hopefully we will see everyone working out again after the week closure.  For Highlands Ranch property management, please call today.  03/25/2019

This is St. Patrick’s weekend this weekend with the actual day on Sunday this year.  You may have seen a few over eager revelers celebrating the holiday last weekend, but this weekend is the true observed time.  With that comes the healthiest alternative to drinking green beer all weekend, and that is the St. Patrick’s 5k on Saturday 3/16/19 from 9:00am to 12:00pm.  This is the Highlands Ranch St. Patrick’s Day 5K and will be launching from the Town Center South, just 5 minutes from our Highlands Ranch property management office.  Grab your friends and family and head on down to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a 5k run. The International Wine Tour is coming to Southridge Rec Center, on March 2nd from 4:00 to 7:00pm. If the weather comes into town and makes it a hard journey to get there, the event will still go on. You may need to allot extra time to get to the event. The parking will however be easy as usual, since the plowing company will be out in full force as soon as the snow begins to fall. It looks like another great sunny day in Highlands Ranch during the tail end of winter and beginning of spring. There looks to be a bit of the icy grip of winter letting go, as we have had sun and a few warmer days sprinkled throughout. It has been light over all on snow, especially in the beginning of the winter. There were maybe 2 snowfalls in October 2 in November, and 3 or so in December closer to Christmas. January was light as well. The mountains did not suffer a lack of snow, and although there were weeks where there was no snow to be ridden on, it was overall a pretty good ski season if you braved the commute and the freezing temperatures on occasion.
