Many teams are working online and beginning week 2 of their work from home schedules. Some companies are on week 3 and comfortably getting into the routine. As many of our followers probably know, we do a lot of reporting on various local events that happen each week. Our Highlands Ranch property management blog is mostly events happening in the various neighborhoods we work in. Now with social life on shutdown, events canceled and gatherings of more than 10 people causing raised eyebrows for anyone still having them, there is not much to report. Calendars are bare and the events that are lucky to get postponed have no makeup date in sight. Concerts are canceled or postponed, Red Rocks won’t re-open until mid-May, movie theaters are closed indefinitely, and most restaurants are offering takeaway but otherwise having no seating inside the building. Continuing snow in Littleton and Highlands Ranch has proven irksome for most of the residents in the south east metro area. The snow has affected us on a weekly basis now it seems. There have been several big snow storms one after another. It seems as soon as the sun comes out and starts to thaw the large piles of snow, then another snow storm comes in to greet the people. It seems as soon as you’ve shoveled, there requires another 30-minute session to keep the sidewalks and driveways clear. This has affected traffic in a significant way.
