There is a free family fun night coming up at the Civic Green Park. This park is now up for community self-sanctioned events after the end of the movie series. A lot of these smaller events are put on by residents and advertised on Nextdoor. Anyone in the area should consider checking it out to see if you might meet your neighbors. In Highlands Ranch property management, we often look to Nextdoor to reach that other level of community engagement that seems to be just beneath the surface. There are rumors that the Dueling Pianos will make there return to the Southridge Rec Center next week. If you recall, back in April, they came out to provide an evening of your favorite songs with a live and interactive touch. This sing along show should get you out of your seats and into a dancing mood. You can request your favorite songs from classic rock to today’s pop hits. Two performers from the famous Dueling Piano bar downtown, the Howl at the Moon will play your favorite songs all night. Cash bar and snacks will be valuable. This upcoming Sunday will be the weekly Farmer’s Market in Highlands Ranch. As always, the amount of fresh and local produce on display is unmatched. If you have been following our Highlands Ranch property management community event watch all summer, you will notice that this farmer’s market pops up in from time to time. There are only a month and half left to enjoy this, so we need to make sure everyone knows that it is eventually coming to a close. We direct your attention to the Colorado Farm Fresh Directory of 2018 to see the full list of vendors. These are available at any HRCA facility during the season. Highlands Ranch a Top Place to Live Realtor.com and Money Magazine just released their annual Best Places to Live List and this year the list focuses on communities with more than 50k people in them. To come up with their rankings they looked at economic health, crime rates, public school performance, local amenities, housing, and cost of living. Highlands Ranch came in as the 8th best place to live in the country.

Next Saturday September 29th the Backcountry in Highlands Ranch will host their annual backyard BBQ, at the Backcountry Wilderness Area Base Camp. This is for any member of the Highlands Ranch community, not just Backcountry residents. Many of our renters have a dog. There are polls that reflect a significant number of renters in the Denver metro area own a dog. There are many families in our Highlands Ranch property management portfolio that love their furry friend more than anything. Dogs after all are part of the family. Many dog owners like sanctioned events put on by the community to have their dogs be able to socialize and play with other dogs, which can often be difficult if you do not have a dog park near you.
