Highlands Ranch Real Estate and Relocation (Highlands Ranch, CO)

Hi There Everyone,I just had a client ask me whether it's a Seller's or Buyer's market. So, maybe some of you are asking the same thing. Here are my thoughts:For May 2012, The MLS Monthly Indicators Report for the Denver-metro area (Residential & Condo), shows good news for Median Sold Price going up 13.6% and Average Sold Price moving up 11.3%. This is based upon the change from May 2011 to May 2012. Take into consideration we have a low housing inventory, so that is driving some of those stats. For Sellers...it's always good for these indicators to go up. Thus, I would say it's a Seller's market. But is it optimum timing for homeowners to sell? Well, that answer will vary; as it depends on what price you bought your home for, what are the homes selling for in your neighborhood, what p...

I often get asked by folks who are moving to the south Denver suburbs how to find out about youth sports in the area and get involved.  Sports for kids has in many cases become highly competitive but you'll find that if you look around you can find great recreational opportunities as well. I have 2 kids of my own - my daughter plays soccer and basketball and my son plays hockey, lacrosse and basketball.  They keep me busy and I have had the opportunity to become very acquainted with different youth sports organizations around town.   I know that relocating to a new city can be hard on the kids, and if they are entrenched in a competitive sports team they may not be as excited to move as you would hope.  Sports is a big deal to kids.  Hopefully having a leg up in finding new teams will h...

I have been posting quite a bit lately to update much of the information that I posted back in 2007 and 2008 about different Highlands Ranch neighborhoods/ subdivisions.   I still have many to go, but here are the ones that I have posted here thus far.  I have included links to IDX search, so that if there are homes available for sale that are listed in the Denver MLS - they will appear on each page. As I add more Highlands Ranch neighborhood postings, I will add the links here.  If you have any questions or would like to see any of these Highlands Ranch homes for sale, just let me know! Enjoy!   Highlands Ranch Colorado Neighborhoods and Subdivisions BackCountry Neighborhood Falcon Hills Neighborhood Hillcrest Neighborhood Indigo Hill Neighborhood Kentley Hills Neighborhood Lantern Hil...

Snow and more snow in the Highlands Ranch Golf Club! It took me an hour and a half to drive to the HR Golf Club for what normally takes about 24 minutes last night. After taking the lead to pave the way in my four wheel drive for a friend who was following me, we had to abandon her station wagon in a parking lot! In a matter of about 30 minutes we had about 5 to 6 inches of snow, making driving and visibility tough. Once home in my HR Golf Club neighborhood, the real challenge was trying to drive over the snow bank in front of my garage. I finally made it after the third try. In spite of the snow, living in the HR Golf Club has its pleasures. The HR Golf Club has over 700 homes, some of which are semi and custom single family properties, as well as beautiful townhomes. The neighborhood ...
