Greetings from Estes Park! I just returned from showing property to a couple whose Realtor sister in Iowa found me on Active Rain. It's the best part of the job to be able to listen to a client's goals and then show them choices on how to make that happen. We had another spectacular day for looking at second homes here...80 degrees, sunny and a light breeze that was blowing the golden aspen leaves onto the evergreen branches. Greetings from Estes Park...where getting stuck in a rut is a good thing! We are in the middle of the Elk Rut...when the bulls bugle and the females follow in herds. It really is a hauntingly beautiful sound and not at all what you would expect from such a majestic creature. The elk are enjoying the unseasonably warm Indian Summer weather as much as we are, this big guy in my backyard was pretty relaxed this morning... 09/27/2010
