What is a HUD Owned property or better know as a HUD Home?  When someone with a federal Housing Administration (FHA) insured mortgage can't make the payments, the lender or note owner forecloses on the property. Since the loan is insured FHA pays the lender what is owed and the U.S. Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) takes ownership of the property. An article from The Denver Post, reports that this week, the Brighton City Council approved a resolution to negotiate the sale of a 112-acre, city-owned parcel to Vestas.  If built in Brighton, Vestas has told city officials that a new plant could employ 650.  Tom Clark, executive vice president of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corp. said, "This is not yet a deal.  It's part of the process a company goes through when they want to acquire raw land.  This is a step in the right direction but it's by no means a done deal."  Also, Vestas is reportedly negotiating with the Regional Transportation District to buy a 65-acre parcel next to the city of Brighton land.http://www.denverpost.com/business/ci_9989094 www.judesandvall.com www.judesandvall.com
