  It's suppose to be 107 degrees in Vegas and I would rather be in Venice Beach California ... It is going to be very, very HOT in Las Vegas Nevada and I am so glad I am not working for the next few days. We are going to Aria (City Center) swimming today and Lake Mead tomorrow ... but I would much rather spend time in the area displayed in the photographs. Having grown up in Westchester, I've always had a soft spot for Venice Beach, and I get excited when there's a reason to celebrate community. Ask any local what their favorite street is in the area and chances are they'll reply "Abbot Kinney", often followed by Main Street, both literally and geographically. On Sunday, September 27 the 25th Annual Abbot Kinney Festival with an expected attendance of 150,000 is being held. Abbot Kinney is full of original artsy shops selling anything from eclectic books, to captivating floral arrangements, design furniture, and art galleries. I've had a crazy idea for some time now that there are a lot of investment dollars in Southern California that should be going into Las Vegas real estate... that most people just don't know where to start when it comes to an out-of-state investment. Frankly , I'm not surprised at all that we received 3 offers within 6 days, and the phone continues to ring off the hook for showings. You might be asking why I'm not surprised. Well, let me tell you...my client was totally and completely coachable and open to the Principle of the Three P's. Product. Pricing. Promotion. Abbot Kinney founded the beach community in 1905. He had dug canals to drain the marshes and develop residential areas and which were modeled after the canals in Venice, Italy.
