"Helpful Staging Tips Transform a Half Wall in this Charming Home!" In the 1950's these half walls were very popular...  they were used as planter boxes in their day.  I guess you could say back then it was a unique invention on someone's part and it became the "In" thing and houses all over were being built with this very new idea.  These days they are almost all forgotten.  Except every now and then you run across a home that still has one it in.  Maybe not used as a planter box anymore but the wall still stands. On one of our latest Home Staging Consultations we in-fact found one.  I thought about it for awhile and what came to mind was the fact that whoever it was who invented this had a forethought that I had not thought about before.  When we as a Staging Company stage a home we b...

Now the incentive is not only available in Florida, but it's also available in California and Nationwide. Bank of America is offering anywhere from $2500 up to $30,000 for a successful short sale that closes. The short sale must have been initiated after May 3rd 2012, though December 31st, 2012. The short sale must be initiated without an offer, and the Homeowner must be Hafa or Coop eligible. The investor of the loan also would need to participate in this nationwide incentive in order for the homeowner to collect the incentive at the closing. If you live in California contact me and I will help see if you qualify.

Marin County Real Estate - Luxury Living in San Rafael, Yes it's True!; Real Estate Porn Week 3! Who says you can't find luxurious living in San Rafael! San Rafael, CA 94901. My hometown and now my place of business. The appeal of San Rafael to me today is the same as it was 35 years ago. It's the melting pot of Marin, the most diverse city, by far, in our extremely affluent county and the last City before hitting the most Northern city of Marin, Novato. For those looking to buy in Marin yet retain easy access and ease of commute to  San Francisco, buyers typically don't want to look any further north than San Rafael. Home prices in Marin County typically increase per square foot the closer you get to the Golden Gate Bridge which makes San Rafael the most affordable commute city in Mari...

If so, will it be a half-point? Will we, here in Marin, see any changes in rates, or are they already "worked-in" as they have said in the past? By this I mean will the new purchase money buyer see any drop in rates? My gut tell me that we will not see a drop in mortgage money. Rates are historically low and I do not see them dropping based on the perceived half-point rate decrease tomorrow.  What do you think?
