I first posted about the World Tree of Hope two years ago. It's message is even more pertinent today, so I'm posting it again now:The World Tree of Hope has once again taken center stage in San Francisco's city hall.Not only does the tree make a spectacular backdrop for the many weddings, both large and small, that take place here, it spreads a great message of love, peace, and harmony.Over 15,000 origami cranes, a symbol of peace, each contain a message of hope, love, kindness written on it, and decorate the tree. These messages are written by people of all ages, all faiths, and all walks of life, and represent hopes and dreams for the world. Come usher in The Year of the Ram with the San Francisco Symphony when they host their annual Chinese New Year family concert on Saturday, February 21, 2015. The concert begins at 3:00 PM at Davies Symphony Hall at the Civic Center in San Francisco, but come early to enjoy the many family activities spread throughout the gracious lobby areas.
