Well, I did it again.  Foot, enter mouth....kinda.  In my posts of bank-owned listings, I inadvertently breached a rule of our Realtor association concerning the advertising of other brokers' listings.  In my desire to provide my readers with a single place to access listings in this popular segment of the real estate market, I completely forgot to give credit where credit was due....to the listing agents of these properties.  Hence, the "OOOPS!" In some ways, I wish they were all my listings.  In other ways, I'm certainly glad that they're not.  The real estate agents who take on these repo listings work hard and put up with a lot of things that most agents would run from.  They deal with eviction, cleaning out abandoned properties, changing out door locks, getting utilities on, paying...

Michelle took me to "The Bus Stop" in Running Springs on our date day last Tuesday.  We each had a sandwich (she had the cashew chicken on a croissant and I had a hot pastrami on rye).  The food was delicious and we washed them down with some hot drinks (I had the caramel latte and Chelle had a white hot chocolate with soy).  Though we didn't have any, they also had delicious looking cookies, muffins, and more.  YUMMMM.... The place is very cute and cozy and has free wireless for their customers, too.  It's a place you'd feel comfortable just hanging out for a while with friends and/or family.  The Bus Stop is located on Hwy 18, between the 76 gas station and Blauer's Ski Rentals.  Check out their website at:  www.thebusstopcoffeehouse.com.  It was a fairly average market for the last week in the Running Springs, Arrowbear and Green Valley Lake communities: 6 new listings, 18 in escrow and a total inventory of 202 single-family homes for sale.  Median list prices continue to sit right around $240K....though we saw not one sale in the past 7 days. This week's "Weekly Market Update" is a tad different...in the past I have been posting real estate statistics for ALL areas of the mountain (Lake Arrowhead, Crestline and Running Springs) under the heading of "Lake Arrowhead Real Estate." Well, looking at it, that doesn't make sense, does it? Have had an extended trip to florida.. Put moms house up for sale, Bought a home that is easier and more fun (swim exercise class) for her to live in, helped brother move here to enjoy  her and got her organized. See photo below.
