                                    You're never far from a carousel when in Paris.  There is something about them that has always attracted me--not sure if it is the music, or circling about while moving up and down and chasing the horse in front, but never catching it.  Perhaps it is a blend of all those reasons.   Today, I'm trying to chase down a listing agent, who in turn is trying to locate the seller to schedule a showing for my clients tomorrow afternoon.     Gaining access to a property is not as easy as one might think, especially when many luxury homes for sale in Palos Verdes require advance notice, often overnight, and the listing agent to be present at each and every showing.   Rolling Hills, California offers some of the best equestrian estates in Southern California.  The gated city of Rolling Hills is located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.  The coastal setting offers not only miles of riding trails but also some incredible views of the California coastline. Josh and I attended a global real estate conference in Pasadena yesterday.  We often work with international clients from around the world, and were eager to be informed about current trends and other useful information we can apply to our business at Charlemagne Int'l Properties. The Palos Verdes Peninsula, located in the South Bay of Los Angeles, has a plethora of ocean view homes since it is a peninsula surrounded on three sides by the Pacific Ocean.   The topography of towering cliffs and rolling hills is perfect for giving many homes in Palos Verdes a spectacular view.  Although my decision to move to Rancho Palos Verdes in 1989 was heavily influenced by the stellar public schools and air quality, I was most impressed with the amazing depth and variety of view properties. Perhaps this because we moved to California from Florida with nary a hill to be found as far as the eye can see! Palos Verdes is horse country, especially Rolling Hills.  However, properties zoned for horses can also be found in Rancho Palos Verdes, primarily in the Portuguese Bend gated area off Palos Verdes Drive South. The Palos Verdes Drive North area of Rolling Hills Estate has many horse properties for sale.
