  I got a request from a client to look around their Rocklin, CA home for the extent of dry rot to the siding and trim. There certainly were some areas on the sun side of the home, but overall, not too bad.   Your Sacramento Fence Has a Few More Years; The Retaining Wall Needs To Be Repaired.   There are times when the repair that I was called to look at leads to something else. I looked at a wood fence today that the Sacramento management company was considering repairing soon. The fence itself has signs of weathering and a few loose fence boards but not too bad. The fence was not in perfect condition but it could probably hold up a few more years. There were portions of the fence that had been replaced and repaired a few years ago, but it was not a new fence. The problem that I saw was with the lower retaining wall.
