Hanging out at the Birdbath  Hanging out at the Birdbath               Today after parking my car, I could hear a lot of splashing and chirping going on.             Upon further investigation, I found about a dozen birds jumping in and out of the water pond in the Target parking lot.                 This was an extremely round bird who sat on the basket but did not get into the water. Firefighters Wear Pink this October to Support Nat Breast Cancer Month The men and women of the Redlands Firefighters are swapping their blue shirts from now through October to remind others that this is National Breast Cancer Month.     But the T-shirts aren't just for Firefighters. The public can also purchase a Redlands Fire Department pink T-shirt starting Oct. 1 at the Redlands Fire Administration office.  The offices are located at 35 Cajon St. in downtown Redlands, Suite 12.  The T-shirts are available in both a men’s and women’s sizes, sizes small through XXL. The cost of the shirt is $20 with all profits going to Stater Bros.
