 Condos and townhomes are available in some neighborhoods of Palos Verdes, particularly around the commercial centers. Some are built in areas with amazing views of the coast or the city of Los Angeles, others provide amenities such as pools and tennis courts.Palos Verdes Estates has a limited number of condo/townhome developments around the Lunada Bay plaza and Malaga Cove plaza. Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes both have some larger condo complexes that were built when the land was still county operated and quite a few neighborhoods of townhomes. Rolling Hills does not have condos or townhomes. There are so many benefits, besides the obvious physical, one enjoys when walking the trails near the ocean bluffs in Rancho Palos Verdes.  The view pleases the eyes, the sound and smell of the surf pleases other senses.  The connection of feet to unpaved earth has its own rewards as well. Living life in Los Angeles County comes with its own set of stresses to be sure. The hiking trails along Palos Verdes Drive South are well-traveled by these feet of mine.  Sometimes I'm treated to whales or dolphins frolicking along the shoreline, but on this particular day my timing was perfect to see the cliffs and coastline enveloped by clouds. The trails were soon obscured from sight and I finished my walk amid the misty fog. 04/23/2015
