It is a sunny California afternoon.  The sky is blue.  The breeze is nearly non-existent.  I'm listening to one my favorite stations on my google play music, Chet Baker. How are you?  HOPE that You and Your Family are absolutely enjoying this Sunday afternoon!!! The photo is of Papa in the early 70's after He'd given Our Mother Her New Sewing Machine desk.  He made it Himself.  You can see His Happiness and His modest pride.  Papa would always give You everything He could. I realized this in the latter years of His life.  He was sweet, generous and thoughtful. When I'd visit Him in Assisted Living, while His dementia and Alzheimer's was setting in, Papa would give me pointers on anything from Client issues, to my appearance, to how to clean his room, or assemble His new wheelchair.   One...

Good Morning!  Hope that You and Your Family are having a great December and Holiday Season!    The end of the year is a time to revisit our year.  It's an Opportunity to visit our accomplishments from 2019, plans that didn't make it, and brings hope for the coming year.  This year is no exception.   This is a reminder that the Holiday Season can be very stressful.  Between traffic, parties, visits and family, how do you have time for yourself? Below are a few things that may serve you well to cope with the stresses: 1) Take a nap - replenishing your body is so important.  If you can't sleep enough hours, then perhaps you have 10-15 minutes in your day that you can be on recess from your responsibilities?  That little amount of time will certainly have your body saying, "Thank You". 2) ...

Great Evening to You! Hope that You and Your Families have had a great Fourth of July Holiday! I was visiting our Father tonight (My Sister and Dad are in the photo with me above) and He is in assisted living.  There are so many things that I could tell people about this experience. It is true.  You get more out of giving, than receiving...I'll explain.Tonight, when I arrived at supper time, Papa (Dad in Italian) was sitting at the table with two other gentleman, one is in his nineties, and his eyes were closed.  What?  The assistant told me that he had taken a nap and is sleeping at the dinner table.   I was wondering why he is losing weight.  Right?  So I went and sat in the empty chair next to him and began, talking with Him and his two dinner companions.  I heated up his clam chowde...

Good Morning and Happy December! As you know there are many marketing sectors to the real estate market.  Some incentives would be free solar, Seller will pay one year's dues to Buyer at close of escrow, closing costs, low-down payment program and the list goes on. It is difficult to understand some incentives and sometimes hard to determine what is a dangerous ploy to entice you to buy one specific home.  The Buck Stops Here! This Home at 7494 Massachusetts Place in Rancho Cucamonga is truly a great Opportunity.  After entering the market as it began it's descent, or adjustment period (I believe it's more of an adjustment as prices have been over-flated due to low inventory levels recently), we have had one price adjustment, changes in commissions offered to the Buyer's Agent and now.....

With Halloween just around the corner, It’s the perfect time to check out your local pumpkin patch and bring home a few to turn into jack-o’-lanterns! But where should you go to get your spooky gourds? Right here in Rancho Cucamonga, there’s one of Cali’s largest and best-reviewed spots, Stu Miller’s Pumpkin Patch. Not only does Miller’s patch have thousands of locally-grown pumpkins, there are bouncy houses, slides, and obstacle courses. Miller’s patch is a one-stop-shop for kids’ Halloween fun. In addition to the sideshow attractions and rides, there’s something for adults too. Stu’s hosts fundraising events for local charities, churches, schools, etc. This is also the closest patch to the Upland, Fontana, and Ontario areas. Miller’s isn’t the only patch around, though. Enchanted Coun...

Summers in Rancho Cucamonga equate to 90 to 100-degree weather. It would be nice to extend Spring as much as possible to enjoy the cooler weather.  I mean, who wants to deal with a river of sweat trickling down our backs and feel like our skin is frying as soon as we step out from the shadows? Let me tell you…no one does! But fear not! Although summers in Rancho Cucamonga are super hot, there are ways you can still have fun. So, before you completely melt this summer, I have included a couple activities and places to go in Rancho Cucamonga to beat the heat. Go to the Movies Going to the movies is a great way to stay indoors. Feeling adventurous? Go to the movies without a light sweater and see how long you last before freezing to death. I kid I kid! But really, we all know how cold tho...

The popularity of poke has increased very rapidly over night it seems. I was speaking with my friend the other day and he mentioned how he had gone to check out AhiPoki in Upland for their soft opening and all I could think was that there is no way I can keep track of all these new poke places popping up. You do a quick Google search and they are everywhere…everywhere! Before I get side-tracked, let’s focus on the poke places in Rancho Cucamonga. There are four total poke places in Rancho Cucamonga for now, but hey, come next month and we might just have a new place to choose from. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised, but I wouldn’t mind either; the more the merrier. So, let me give you the breakdown of poke places in Rancho Cucamonga, prices, proteins to pick from, toppings, the whole 411...

Summer is officially here and schools out for the kids. The park is a great place to go to get out the house and keep your kids active this summer. Parks in Rancho Cucamonga are not hard to come by; Rancho Cucamonga is home to thirty parks to be exact. Crazy, right? I too was amazed by the fact that we have so many to choose from. For a list and map of all the parks located in Rancho Cucamonga click here. Not that children complain about going to the same park, but just in case they do, having thirty parks in Rancho Cucamonga to choose from can certainly help if this is a concern. Parks in Rancho Cucamonga Yelp ReviewsI wanted to see what yelpers thought the best parks in Rancho Cucamonga were.
