Real Estate is local. You may hear the national reports but you have to look in your own backyard. This kind of information really intrigues me so I spend a lot of time researching several sources. I mainly use my local multiple listing service, but I also subscribe to Market Snapshot which is also a very local report. I offer this report to my clients or any one that chooses to receive it. This report will show you homes in your immediate neighborhood that are for sale and homes that have sold. It has some very cool charts and pictures. You can subscribe to this report by simply filling out the form below and it will come to you automatically to your email. You decide how often. If you don't want to receive the report you can unsubscribe! I bet you wont tough, it has wonderful informat...

New and Interesting Homes for Sale in Newport Beach and Costa MesaBroker PreviewNewport BeachOctober 16, 2009Yesterday was an excellent day for Broker Preview for Newport Beach and Costa Mesa. Every Friday is the day for broker preview for Newport Beach and Costa Mesa for new homes listed on the  MLS or price changes. I like to preview the inventory and pass on the the information about some of the homes that I have the opportunity to see.The home located at 1919 Santa Ana in Costa Mesa is absolutely a very iconic home. With the Queen Anne Victorian Architectural style home, it is is truly a unique home. There is a wrap  around porch and a rounded entry with leaded glass front doors. Newport Beach Top Ten Deals of the WeekOctober 13, 2009I recently joined a committee with other Realtors in Newport Beach to determine the top ten best deals in Newport Beach, Newport Coast and Corona del Mar. New listings and price changes are reviewed to determine the 10 best deals in Newport Beach, and post them to share price per square foot and price changes. The criteria is however, no short sales. The top ten best deals are standard sales or REO's. We look at price per square foot and create a list of approximately ten properties to "make the list". This week, there are 13 in the top ten.The following is the list of the top thirteen for this week:5 Rue Deauville, Newport Beach $1,799,000 This property on 5 Rue Deauville just had a price reduction from $1,995,000 and is now priced ...

Newport Beach Bay-front homes are one of the most desirable properties on the Orange County Coast. While some think that driving to the peninsula point takes too long, it's well worth the views when you arrive. (It really just takes about 10 minutes) but when you live in Newport everything is so close, locals don't like to drive. At the peninsula point you may either live on the ocean front or on the bay front. Today I want to talk about the bay-front homes. Yesterday during Realtors preview I was privileged to view some of the best locations and views in Newport Beach.  I first arrived at a home on one-half acre on the bay! This multiple lot bay front property is on the market for the first time in 75 years. The property comes with conceptual plans for an Eastern Seaboard style residen...

Balboa Island a beautiful location! A summer vacation place. A spot I get to visit often. I love taking walks on the Island and really love to shop here. So this morning my daughter, husband and I took our 3 dogs for a walk. It was beautiful! As usual there were people every where. Our first stop was Starbucks and then we went on to walk along the canal.           Here's a shot of the canal looking out to the Newport Harbor. It's hard to believe that once parcels of land use to cost $250.00 here on Balboa Island. Cottages and Mansions now start $1,300,000 all the way up to $10,000,000. The streets are named after stones: Crystal, Amethyst, Emerald and so on. Parking is not always easy on the Island especially on weekends and holidays.           Homes along the bay front have their ow...

Welcome to Balboa Island where everyday is a  vacation day. Living on Balboa Island has many benefits. Some of them are the weather, walking to coffee, lunch, dinner, shopping and exercise. You can get around the Island in a golf cart if you'd like, many of the residents do to avoid parking. You can walk around the Island in 45 minutes. Many of the residents are full timers but many homeowners have vacation homes here or 2nd homes. It's a great place to raise a family or simply retire! Balboa Island is located in the heart of Newport Beach. Close to the ocean, upscale shopping, and John Wayne airport. Investing in real estate on the Island is always profitable. After all how many places in California can you live on an Island. Balboa Island is home to many that started here as a vacatio...

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Race for the Cure Finish Line The  Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure  was held at Fashion Island in Newport Beach yesterday September 27, 2009. I participated in this event with my family, and what an awesome experience. The attendance for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure was approximately 30,000 people. There were participants racing in honor of others who are survivors, and there were survivors as well that raced. It was a foggy morning in Newport Beach, and there were actually two races, one began at 7:30 am and the other one began at 9:45 am. Also, at 9am, there was an dedication ceremony to the survivors of this disease. By 12:00 noon yesterday, over $2.5 million dollars had been raised. I will continue to support this organization and event ever...
