Doesn’t everyone?  Need land for their yurt, that is...?!  This is my latest quest...a fun one at that.  My buyer is dead serious...he wants a plot of land in the hills, anywhere from Mount Washington to Malibu.  The only other criteria is that it must have a view.The “view” can be anything from a beautiful valley filled with hillside homes, to an ocean vista from above on the cliffs. Yowza! Ground was broken for the Southwest Museum on November 16, 1912.  The museum was the dream of Charles Lummis.  "Lummis had constructed a home for himself in Arroyo Seco, which he named El Alisal. It became a personal museum where Lummis began to accumulate his own collection of artifacts and research materials.
