Menifee, CA I recently met a client that inquired about a short sale. My process of pre qualifying a candidate for a short sale is to be certain the borrower has gone through the necessary steps to save their home. I was really surprised to hear there are still company's out there that continue to charge upfront fees in hopes of providing a solution. My message to the public is PLEASE...do not pay one thin dime to any company out there trying to collect fees for getting you a loan modification or short sale. There are government regulations that restrict this practice. Menifee CA – Banks continue to play by their own set of rules. I recently met a couple of agents at a short sale convention I attended. One agent informed me  of some really shocking news. She had been working on a short sale approval in a diligent fashion for the past two years and got the short sale approved. The lender stated they were approving the short sale and would allow the seller to walk away owing nothing.However, after the short sale was complete, the lender resumed collection tactics for her clients to repay the loan. The lender stated in the approval letter that the seller will be released from liability. Sadly, this is not the first time I have heard this from other agents.  During the convention, I heard another horror story. Getting Frustrated With Your Short Sale Approval? Have you ever been so frustrated with the bank you could just scream? Try this tip: File Your complaint with www.ripoffreport.com and be sure to include as much detail as you can. Be sure to include the banks name. That way the banks name will show up in Google when others are searching. Banks don't want bad press. Here's another idea. Contact your local television station or radio station or newspaper. Lender's don't want the bad press right now and this is a sure fire way to get their attention and put a call to action in place. Leverage the press release about to go out and send it to the Media Relations Department of your lender. In the case of the lenders any publicity is not considered good publicity. I scream BOOOOO to you!  It is the end of October and Halloween is in less than 7 days!  Kids are excited for sweets and costumes, and adults are thinking - why is Halloween on a weekday?!  The holidays are around the corner and we all scratch our head and start wondering, where did the past year go? Time is speeding by this year and Menifee real estate is speeding along with it!  As of just recently, the Federal Reserve has taken additional action to stimulate the economy and thus interest rates dropped even lower!  I just had a client get in touch with my lender today to do an FHA Streamline and lessen their rate from 5.5% which they obtained about 1.5 years ago to an estimated 3.75%!  That is an outstanding difference and the helpful side of FHA Streamlines is they are quite easy for any who at the moment has an FHA loan - even if the property value has fallen down!!  Currently, I am wishing I was FHA instead of conventional - Grrr. Menifee home prices for August 2011 Here's some different charts for Menifee homes that I did last month, before the statistics for August were completely in.
