Sadly, here I am still writing about the fires in the greater Los Angeles area. We are experiencing record-setting wildfires.  As most of you know I have been focusing on the Pacific Palisades Fires, since they are near to us. The fires are only 19% contained.  Acres: 23,713 are covered with fires. Structures Lost: 10,000 (est.) All these fires have forced thousands of people to leave the area and find a place to stay. In addition, there are thousands of homes that have been lost. With this in mind, the California Department of Real Estate (DRE) reminds licensees and consumers that price gouging is a criminal offense in counties where a state of emergency has been declared. Now do we really need to be reminded of this? Another update on the Pacific Palisades fires...sort of... The good news is that we are at 27% per cent containment with all the help from Fire Fighters, from Texas and Mexico to name a few.  It has burned 23,713 acres after being an active fire for nine days now. A crew of 4,471 firefighters has been working on site Clearly, we still have a long way to go, I will feel much better when the numbers are around 80 -90% contained.Today, the US Postal Service dropped off a flyer and I thought I would share to help those in need.
