Looking for where the locals go in La Jolla for a great cup of coffee and to catch up on the comings and goings in La Jolla?  Come visit one of my favorite places, The Pannikin.  The Pannikin is on the upper end of Girard away from the trendy boutiques.  But make no mistake, the Pannikin is THE hangout for La Jollans who want to see and be seen.  There are wooden floors and an eclectic mixture of furnishings, cushy chairs, and even old wooden style theater chairs, probably taken from the old La Jolla "Cove" theater before it closed down years ago.  There are cozy tables outside to enjoy our year round climate and did I mention great coffee?  Come see for yourself!
