CLICK HERE TO SEARCH FOR LA HABRA HEIGHTS HOMES! Looks like it's going to be another scorcher today! Dreaming about a home with a pool? Well, now's the time - home prices have dropped and interest rates are at a record low. On average, pool homes sell only slightly above comparable homes without a pool, but a pool seems to make a home more "sellable" and once summer temperatures hit, pool homes are a highly desirable commodity. Finding a home in the picturesque city of La Habra Heights is not easy - many homes are built on hill sides with not enough flat space to add a pool plus inventory is very low: there are currently only 43 Homes listed for sale in La Habra Heights. Of the 43 La Habra Heights Homes for sale, 14 have a pool. The lowest priced La Habra Heights pool home is currently ...

Hello everybody, As promised last week in the first blog about the La Habra Heights Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts, here is the follow-up! And what a great show it was! If you didn't get a chance to visit, you really missed out this time! This was my fourth year of participating in the show and I must say it was absolutely wonderful. The show was packed with visitors every day, even when it was pouring on Saturday. The official numbers aren't in yet, but to me it sure looked like there were a lot more visitors than the year before. Luckily the shuttle service was running all three days as the church parking lot was just simply overflowing.     At the 50th Anniversary of the Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts, 206 renowned artists participated and exhibited their work. From stunning jewelr...

One of the most popular Art Shows in the area is coming up this week: The Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts! As every year for the past 50 years, many renowned and award-winning local as well as nationally acclaimed artists will be displaying their work in a professional Gallery Setting at the Hillcrest Congregational Church in La Habra Heights.   One of the aspects that make the Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts so attractive (it draws in about 10,000 visitors each year) is the wide variety of media on display: Watercolor & oil paintings, sculpture, fiber arts, handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, photography, glass, wood, pottery, batik and mixed media. Countless volunteers spend months preparing for the Art Show, transforming the place of worship into a Conglomerate of Personal Expression - fr...

July 15, 2009  The numbers are in:  Data Quick numbers show 833 houses and condos were foreclosed on in June ‘09 in OC. Up 41% from May and 31% from the year before. 4,052 properties were seized in Orange County down 26% from the first half of 2008. Not that we didn't know they'd be high. Loan modifications are only working out about 50% of the time. The California Foreclosure Prevention Act had only stalled the inevitable with this 90 day moratorium. The  Assembly Bill X2 7 the Terminator signed in February was duped by banks who filed for exemptions giving them a loop-hole buy showing they have already had a modification program in place. The law impacts loans made from 2003 to 2007. One of the methods for loan modification is lowering the interest rate or to extend its term to 40 ye...

Even though we are currently experiencing economic challenges, there are proven strategies to help you sell your home.  In addition a recent 2009 pulse survey sponsored by the National Association of Realtors show that 83% of Americans believe that buying a home today is a good financial decision and a sound long-term investment. More than 75% of Americans believe that now is a good time to get in to the housing market.  Three-fourths of those surveyed also believe now is a good time to buy a home. In fact, one-third of renters are thinking more about buying a home than they were a year ago. Low prices, good housing selection, an $8000 tax credit, and historically low interest rates make buying more desirable then in the recent past. One major concern for most Americans is the money ...
