Good afternoon to all my fellow Realtors out there, working hard or hardly working after that long weekend.  I worked the whole time, garage sale and all, floor time, a listing appointment.   Took Monday off and went hiking with the family, my husband and our two dogs.  We went out to Deep Creek Hot Springs outside of Grass Valley Lake community off of the 173 as it turns to dirt to go into the backside of Hesperia.  It was a gorgeous sunny day.  We set off at 11:10 am.  At first, the directions we had weren't the greatest scale/distance, and we drove past the trailhead.  We turned around because there were some firetrucks parked at the only other bridge we saw.  Got out and saw the fence marked Bradford Ridge trailhead. Every day I like to spend some time going through the new "Pending" listings in the local MLS to spot patterns or try to see where the real estate market seems to be heading today. Every day I see the same thing, a couple of houses selling for prices that are out of line for the current market. It happens in Apple Valley, Hesperia, Victorville and throughout the High Desert. Why is this? I have my theories and I developed these after talking to agents from "down the hill" who called on listings but were only concerned with commission percentage (3% offered in MLS, they asked for 4 or 5%). Its a shame more buyers are not looking for local agents to help with the buying process, maybe then we wouldn't hear our sellers say "that house is smaller and older than mine, they wanted $40,000 mor...
