I've always found it interesting to see a home going down the street on it's way to another site, just waiting for someone to throw out some dish water out the back door... lol , not really In the case of moving a home from one site to another several things must be present to qualify for a 203k loan. 1) The house being move must be on it's original foundation. It can't have been moved already to a storage sit while awaiting a lot to move it to. 2) HUD engineering must observe the home on the present site prior to the move and at the new location once sit & bolted on the new foundation. 3) The mover's insurance must cover the home during the move. Looking at the contract this mover has it suggests the borrower is responsible for damages up to $2,500, I don't think this will fly with HUD...

What IMPACT can HERO have donating his HEROCARE discount? These are interesting times........challenging for everyone especially schools. Schools have had budget cuts and have been forced to cut programs + activities with State and Federal budget cuts. Problem is it is trickling down to where it matters our future......our children's education. Keep in mind these will be our FUTURE leaders! When I got involved with it in 1994 it was an exciting thing to see a loan product for buyers or owners, purchase or refinance, that could also provide monies to make needed repairs. More and more, I am getting calls like this from clients.  These clients have entered into a temporary loan modification program with their lenders under the Making Homes Affordable Program (HAMP).  They made their three months worth of trial payments at a payment they could afford.  They thought this would be permanent.  Now they are being told that they do qualify, but the payment will be much higher.  For example, I have a client whose payment prior to modification was $4800.  For her temporary modification, it was $3500.  After the trial period, the bank increased it to $4300.  Due to a recent divorce and lack of income, she cannot make that amount.
