San Diego CA - The FHA Loan Limits for 2015 were released on Friday, December 5th, and the maximum FHA loan limit for forward mortgages has been increased for 187 counties nationwide.   San Diego County's FHA loan limit will match the recent Fannie/Freddie increase from $546,250 to $562,350 which is an increase of $16,100.   The new FHA loan limits apply to all loans with FHA case numbers assigned from January 1st, 2015 through December 31st, 2015. Other High Cost areas, such as Los Angeles and Orange Counties, are seeing their FHA Loan Limit stay at the current ceiling of $625,500 for one-unit properties.Riverside and San Bernardino Counties are seeing their FHA maximum loan for 2015 stay at their current level of $355,350 for one-unit properties which had dropped from $500,000 to $355... 12/06/2014

On Halloween night, Downtown Encinitas is again hosting the "Safe Trick or Treat". From 5:00pm-8:00pm tonight, many (if not most) of the businesses on South Coast Hwy 101 generously participate in the fun.  The 101 Artist's Colony sponsor a kids zone where children can enjoy games and music courtesy of Bucket Ruckus. In Encinitas, California, over the last 6 months, home prices also surpassed, by $17,000 or 2.28%, the highest 6 month period in Encinitas home price history, which was set in January thru June of 2006. That trend of increasing home prices is expected to continue due to the strong pent up demand for Encinitas houses and condos.  There were 52 Encinitas houses and condos sold in July of 2014.  There are only 174 Encinitas houses and condos currently available for sale.  This is about a 3.5 month supply of housing inventory for the Encinitas area.
