Search for a quiet gated community in Encinitas CA Recently I had a Bank listing in Sage Canyon, a gated community of only 33 upscale homes in the southern portion of Encinitas CA.  The last 3 homes sold in the Sage Canyon neighborhood ranged in size from 3200 - over 3500 square feet with lot sizes large enough for swimming pools.  The average home has 4-5 bedrooms and most have a 3 car garage.  I found the area very kid friendly and one of San Diego's leading private schools "The Gaurer School" is within walking distance.
