Cotati has a lot of fun annual events throughout the year, but The Cotati Crawl happens weekly.  And it's not really an event per se, it's more of a gathering.  Every Thursday evening, the bars in Cotati brace themselves for their best night of the week, The Cotati Crawl. This gathering is a younger crowd between the ages of 21 to 30.  Most of the crawlers are Sonoma State University Students, whose campus is 2 miles down the street.  The SSU campus technically resides in Rohnert Park, and downtown Rohnert Park could have been the venue for the crawl.  Only one problem though, when the developers designed Rohnert Park they forgot to include a downtown.  Rohnert Park has no downtown.  No kidding.
