I was called out to do a 203k in Corte Madera years ago. It was on "Boardwalk" and it didn't say Street, Avenue, or Road and I don't remember it being on the map, but eventually I did find it.  It was an actual board walk... might have been a pier at one point and they were boats that had the water eventually fill with silt and dirt, and suddenly I'm looking a the house I was there to see. I'll have to go over there and see if I can find it for a photo op. It was the strangest request for an FHA 203k loan I had ever seen. Of course it couldn't happen. We are not in the boat rebuilding industry... LOL.  All the houses on this "Boardwalk" were boats that weren't floating any longer. Very interesting to see. The average original asking price of these homes was $873,000. (Note that homes sold for more than asking.) The range of final selling prices was from a low of $407,000 to a high of $1,183,000.
