For the first time ever, the City of Chino Hills is offering the “Youth Scholarship Program. ” This scholarship is funded by the Chino Hills Community Foundation for children ages 17 and younger. As I perused the Los Angeles Times newspaper this weekend, I came across an interesting article. There is a Real Estate section of the paper but interestingly enough, this article was in the business section instead of the Real Estate section. Could the message also be that this is more about a business decision than anything else? This Mother’s Day weekend took on a totally new meaning. On Friday we loaded the car up to attend a track meet for my daughter in Palm Springs. We were excited and on the move! On Saturday morning, my seven year old daughter was a little nervous but excited about her track meet. The staunch, heavy heat was not letting up, however. After a couple of hours they called for her first race. Once she was done, we decided that we would head back to the hotel for some rest and lunch in between her races.
