The City of Chino Hills launched its new online registration system that will allow residents to register for recreation activities, classes, and programs from home or from work using the City website at www.chinohills.org. RecTrac, the recreational management software and web registration system was activated on March 24th. The Recreation Division serves a community of nearly 80,000 residents, and added the new online service to provide one more convenience for residents. "Doing business on the Internet is the direction society is moving," explained Jonathan Marshall, Community Services Director. CITY HALL BLOOD DRIVE SCHEDULED - JULY 7th   The City of Chino Hills has scheduled a Blood Drive on Tuesday, July 7th from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., at the Government Center parking lot located at 14000 City Center Drive. The Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties will give blood donors a thank you gift. Donors must be at least 17 years of age, in good health, and weigh at least 110 pounds. Blood donors should drink plenty of decaffeinated liquids prior to donating blood and must present valid photo identification. We must stop the Governor's plan to close over 200 of our state parks.  Just this week, the Governor announced a new proposal to eliminate state funding for our state park system - which will close more than 80% of the 279-unit state park system.  His proposal to cut $143 million from our state parks is 10 times worse than last year's proposal. CSPF is kicking off the Save Our State Parks campaign again, and we need your help to take action TODAY and tell the Governor and your state legislators that gutting funding to state parks is unacceptable.
