A fav!!! If you love licorice, I mean real licorice! We stopped by today while walking around Carmel with the kids. My husband went in while I walked into another shop...then I couldn't help myself and entered too..thought I would just help the kids select a treat...nothing for me this time..uh huh.sure! I absolutely love licorice and they have the best. All of the imports! I just had two pieces though! If you love sweets and happen to be in Carmel, don't miss Cottage of Sweets on Ocean Avenue. One of my girls has a milk chocolate smore and the other had a peanut butter cup. The peanut butter cup will last about 2 days and so will the smore. Portions are very generous! Enjoy!

With so many gorgeous homes, finding the perfect one in Carmel-By-The-Sea can be a tough decision. That’s why having an expert real estate agent can be a huge asset! After working in the entertainment industry on feature films in Los Angeles, I made the move into real estate, and also moved to northern California. I have been a top producer for Sotheby’s International Realty for the past 10 years in Carmel-By-The-Sea, and have sold amazing luxury homes throughout the area. I’ve had the opportunity to represent some truly standout properties on the Peninsula, and have worked with a variety of high-end clients where discretion was of the utmost importance. I attribute my expertise in this area to my time in entertainment where working with directors, actors and creative talent also requir...

Homes For Sale In Carmel California The village of Carmel-By-The-Sea is often referred to as "Carmel".  This village occupies one square mile of land.   The unincorporated Carmel Valley extends 12  miles inland from Carmel.  The Carmel Highlands Community is also unincorporated, bordered by Point Lobos State Reserve (and Carmel) to the north and Big Sur to the south. Located south of Monterey, this community is very walkable.  More than 60 courtyards hide amongst stylish inns, boutiques, galleries and restaurants.  Arts and history infuse Carmel-By-The-Sea. Last week-end, I had the pleasure of re-connecting with 10 of my classmates from Robert Louis Stevenson School in Pebble Beach.  We spent the week-end re-discovering Carmel..The pictures here are from a serene hike we took at Point L...

A TRANSFORMITIVE EXPERIENCE             - MAKING YOUR SPA BATH AN INDULGENCE WELL SPENT    Create a private escape within your own home. Throughout history, cultures across the world have revered bathing for its restorative properties. No small wonder then that more and more people are building their own spa-like bathrooms. And while a bathroom like this increases your quality of life, it also advances both the perceived and actual value of your home. The design possibilities are infinite. From the very popular modern wet room-a waterproof room with no shower enclosure-to the ancient but trendy wooden Japanese soaking tub, it's the details that define the room's overall feel and your sensory experience. A sunflower showerhead, for instance, provides the sense of showering in a gentle r...

Visited Carmel, California for the first time today: A Love Story..... We took a trip to Santa Cruz this holiday weekend because I've heard so many good things about that city. Well, because it was a 3-day holiday weekend, Santa Cruz, or at least the beach areas of Santa Cruz, were so congested that I just thought "Get Me Outa here!" So slowly southward bound we went.  Passing through Scotts Valley, Monterey, Soquel, and on to Pebble Beach. The golf course in Pebble Beach is absolutely amazing and one of the most beautiful properties I've ever seen.  They are getting ready for the U.S. Open in a couple of weeks, and Tiger Woods is scheduled to play. After we were finished there, we continued South.  And spent about an hour going through the famous 17-mile Drive. And then we came into Ca...

This afternoon we took a drive along Scenic avenue in Carmel! I had heard that the beach has disappeared during this last storm. The rumor is true! There wasn't much beach today. Usually Carmel beach has lots of beautiful white glistening sand.   The white sandy beach will be back. I enjoyed the storming gloomy day. These photos were taken from my car window! Didn't want to get out. the amazing part was that I saw surfers out there riding the waves. They are so dedicated!
