   My closing 30 in 30 was supposed to be this post and I missed his birthday again;    Today would have marked the 178th birthday (November 30, 1835 – April 21, 1910) for Samuel Langhorne Clemens or by his pen name, Mark Twain as most of us remember him. Still read and enjoyed by many, Twain made a substantial amount of money through his writings, but he lost a great deal through bad investments, mostly in inventions or new technology. In my opinion that was probably a good thing for us as he kept returning to his writing for much needed income. It eventually caused him to file Bankruptcy, for protection from his creditors.
