Benicia Real Estate, by Earl Miller       Benicia Real Estate Hello Benicia residents. It really is time to buy here in Benicia, as the interest rates are still in the 4's and I have heard a few stories of some in the high 3's. Prices are starting to creep up a bit and when that happens it is time. The inventory is real low at the present time, so you will need a good Realtor to really work hard to get you what you are looking for. If you are thinking about selling your home I can get you on to your next home or adventure. I can help you with  a Short Sale or foreclosure Earl Miller Benicia Real Estate Experienced Water's End homes agent Coldwell Banker Solano Pacific     www.earlsbeniciarealestate.com

I am a Benicia California resident and run the Reach Out in  Benicia substance abuse program for the youth and young adults. I have run the program for the last 18 years and have worked with over 6,000 youth and have seen a lot of problems. I have encountered so many young people with pot problems. I know all the arguments to legalize it at this point, but I have had about 30 youth a week for the last 18 years and the majority are pot heads and looking for help to stop. I have a feeling we are headed for disaster. I know we need tax dollars, but I believe we will be spending much more money that we raise on taxes on treatment. I am totally for medical Marijuana, but feel we are making a big mistake. Are we loking for money in all the wrong places.... We will see.... Earl Miller Benicia...

The first year we lived in Benicia CA (1996) our neighbor invited me and my twin daughters to the Teddy Bear Tea Party.  This year the Camelia Tea Room and Benicia Main Street Program are putting this "not to miss" Holiday tea party on November 28th and December 5th.  Tickets went fast in 1996 but Kathy got them for about 10 of us.  I had dresses made for myself and my twin daughters.  They were made of soft green suede like material and I must say we looked good together!  It was a special day where we dressed up for a fancy tea with fancy food. The Camilla Tea Room was decorated with holiday decorations, and smelled divine with all the goodies that were made for us.  We got to pick our tea to drink.  IF I remember right one of my daughters picked a peppermint flavor.  There were stori...

Mexico Vacation Bargains   San Pancho Mexico, Roberto's Bungalows San Pancho, Mexico, Roberto's Bungalows (edit/delete)   Hey the wife and I took off to San Pancho this week. 10/10/10 Wow.....now I remember why I love this place. The quiet, the food, the beach, the mountains, the friends, the warmth, the pool, the surf....yeah I just love this place. Many people ask is it safe? My answer is always the same.....very safe....we do not live on the Border or near any border town. We feel much safer in Mexico than in alot of towns we live by....in California...Everytime I go down on the plane there is not an empty seat.....If you are not comfortable coming to Mexico, it's ok. Go wherever you can relax and get the time you deserve. This is our family vacation spot that we had built with you i...

Living in Benicia for the last 24 years. I have been visiting Mexico for many years and the one thing that really gets to me is when I hear somone who has never been here talk about how scary and dangerous it is........I will agree if you are thinging about going to a border town you know the dangers.....We have a home about 30 miles North of Puerto Vallarta in a little village called San Pancho and it is a piece of Heaven.....If you need to find out how scary it is here...first type in your own town and those around you on google and type in crime and read all about it......This is one beautiful place with so much to offer for those thinking about retireing.....I love this place!!!!!! Yes it's true two of Benicia's funest women head to Puerto Vallarta to learn how to cook....Mexican style. Kimberly and Jane headed to cooking classes with one of the greatest chefs in Mexico. The head chef for the Mayan Resorts in Mexico took time out of his schedule this week to turn a couple of Beniciagirls into Benicia Gourmet chefs. Who knows when they get back there could be another Mexican Restaurant in Benicia. K & J's Mexican delights.... Our local Benicia Main Street Program has about 30 businesses vying for best Scarecrow in a contest they have been sponsoring for the last few years.  They give the participating businesses, which includes Coldwell Banker Solano Pacific, a stick figure in a bucket ready to be dressed and displayed outside each front. The everyone goes to town fixing them up in their own unique fashion. A bunch of local Realtors in the Benicia Coldwell Banker Solano Pacific office, led by Jeff Dennis, created a takeoff on the Monopoly game.  The banker is our scarecrow!  The board game has blocks depicting local landmarks to reflect the RailRoad, Water Works, Jail, etc.  We supersized the hotels and houses and even have thimble, car, and iron that are life-size!  Our own version of CBopoly! It really cam...

Benicia Art by Trained Artist's Benicia....Oh my......the trains keep coming and I am learning so much. I thought the art was good and now I find out that the signatures are famous also. I started seeing this signing by Conrail Twitty and I shot a picture, so I came home and lookied it up on Google. Wow what a story this guy has, but he has since passed away. I am forever grateful that the art caught my eye and now I can spend some time learning about the history of tagging. Benicia has a rail system that goes on each day that I never really paid attention to. It's awesome and it takes my mind off the crazy stuff and let's me focus. Benicia.....I love this City and you will too! If you are thinking about moving here let me know and I will put everythnig I have into making it one of the...

Benicia Art by Earl Miller (edit/delete) Benicia art show on wheels is happening everyday out in the Benicia Industrial Park. Yesterday i was driving in Benicia and down in the industrial park and I couldn't believe my eyes. I had a couple of friends (Nick and Chris) in the car and asked if I could stop for a minute and shoot some photos..... They were just as amazed at the art as I am. We were so excited to see what the artists had left us. I was so blown away and I was clicking away like a madman and then my camera stopped working, as I was looking at some of the best art I have seen in quite some time. The battery had gone dead and I was bummed. I am sitting at home charging my battery and hoping the trains are still there, because the art was so great I am heading back this morning...

I swear my business partner, Jenny, has the magic touch for working with the lenders on our short sale listings in Benicia, CA.  We celebrate each step it takes to reach final approval from the bank for our sellers. It seems like every Friday brings us a bonanza of short sale information from the lenders.  Today a short sale we have been working on for many months with Aurora, changed servicers to LBPS in August, gave us verbal acknowledgment with the terms and that the letter was coming next week.  That is always music to our ears, our sellers ears and the buyers ears!! Also today we learned Wells Fargo ordered a BPO (broker price opinion-not a full appraisal but an opinion form another Realtor) for a Benicia Short Sale listing we just got in contract two weeks ago.  This is a short sa...
