Many of you know that I have been practicing magic and ventriloquism since I was about 8 or 10  years old, A friend of mine who owns California Magic and Novelty in Martinez has a Dinner Theater and they have moved to Main Street i Martinez. I think you will have a great time there and Gerry Griffin is a wonderful host. As a mom, I would be devasted if my 19-year-old son was lost.  That is just what happened in this bizarre, but true, story of Bryce Laspisa.  He was driving home from college in Sacramento for a weekend visit with his parents in Los Angeles area.  Along the way, it seems he got off track.  He stopped for a day to visit friends.  Then, he was driving along the I-5 freeway at 2:00 am and called his parents to tell them he was tired.  He said he was going to pull over and sleep until the morning.  He never made it home.  About 4:30 am, he apparently drove his car off a cliff near Castaic Lake.  Although the car crashed, he was able to break the back window and get out of the car.  It was at a lake in a remote wooded area -- and he has not been seen since.  The lake and woods have been thor... 09/17/2013
