Showed property in Altadena yesterday Altadena, CA is one of those areas that I recommend to clients that are looking for a single family home that need to purchase in a certain pricepoint.  Altadena is one of those cities where you certainly do get your dollar's worth by Los Angeles standards.It is located just north of Pasadena.  In fact, it shares a border with Pasadena.The setting is somewhat of a combination of semi-rural and urban.  Most of the lots are a decent size also.
