VICTORIA REAL ESTATE MARKET REPORT FOR JUNE Low Inventory and Strong Demand Continue in Victoria Real Estate Market A total of 942 properties sold in the Victoria Real Estate Board region this June, 16.6 per cent more than the 808 properties sold in June 2020, but 10.2 percent fewer than the previous month of May.  Condominium sales were up 61.7 per cent from June 2020 with 338 units sold. 4 per cent more condominiums sold in June 2021 than in the previous month of May.  Sales of Single Family homes were down 4.3 per cent from June 2020 with 440 sold. 18.1 percent fewer single family homes sold in June 2021 than in the previous month of May. “We are at a point now where we can look at yearly comparisons with a new lens,” said Victoria Real Estate Board President David Langlois.  “In rec... 07/02/2021

STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL TODAY AT BEAVER LAKE PARK   Our Local Strawberries are out and available at road side stands like along Wilkinson Rd and Farmersmarkets along Oldfield Rd. Along with Fresh Raspberries.     Fresh Local Strawberries are sooo Good, they make great pies, on ice cream or just plain by themselves...Have you tried dipping them in Chocolate? My dog even loves fresh strawberries.             Today (Sunday July 6th) is the 46th Annual Strawberry Festival at Beaver Lake Park.. MAY Roses in our Yard   Our Rose bush in our yard is out in Full Bloom. We only have one rose brush and this year the Bush is showing off what she can really do...I just finished watering and a few drops of water landed on the Rose Flowers adding to a Great Photo Shot....This Rose Bush was a gift from our Friend Gerri...It's Called a "Just Joey" Hybrid Tea Rose ....This extremely beautiful and unusually colored rose was voted The World's Favorite rose in 1994 at Rose-world Convention in New Zealand. !! 05/30/2014
