Sabino Canyon I love hiking! When I lived in New Mexico I used to go hiking at least once a month and considered it something that was vital to my happiness. When I was moving to Tucson I thought that hiking would have to be something I would be giving up because I was under the impression that the desert around Tucson was just miles of flat land studded with saguaro cactus's, but boy was I wrong! After I had lived here for a few months I was feeling really disconnected from the natural world so one of my co-workers told me about a hike she went on at Sabino Canyon and thought it might be something I would enjoy doing.
