Nothing says Fall like an Oktoberfest celebration and Tempe holds one of the biggest events in the state, the Four Peaks Oktobertfest at Tempe Town Lake. Now I have to admit, I come from the land of what feels like year round Oktoberfest (that would be Wisconsin in case you're wondering), so I really wasn't convinced an Oktoberfest in the desert could compare.  But Tempe pulls out all the stops for this one.  Each year between 150,000 - 200,000 attend the event. This year, Oktoberfest in Tempe runs from October 10-12, 2014 (Friday 5pm-12am, Saturday 10am-12am, Sunday 10am-6pm).
