I recently toured the Merrion Square mixed use project in Tempe and was impressed with the overall layout of this small project in a great Tempe location. On the ground level, you find four commercial units with eight residential units directly above. Although there is currently no covered parking, I was told the spaces will be covered very soon. The units have many nice features including high ceilings, nice finish work, travertine baths, granite kitchens and a good use of space. The original builder wasn't able to complete the project that was supposed to be sold in 2006 and a new developer has come in to finish the units and begin sales.
