THE FOLLOWING TIPS ARE EASY AND INEXPENSIVE! 1. Change your look with Accessories: Just a few things can change your Kitchen from Dull to eye-popping Dramatic! Choose a new theme such as maybe a Colorful Canister Set, Toaster Covers, Designer Dish Towels, Colorful Pot Holders and a new Salt and Pepper Shaker Set. This is all about brightening things up and bringing your Kitchen up to date to enjoy it for a change!   2. Brighten up the Kitchen with Mirrors: Try putting a Mirror across from a Window or on a Wall that Corners against a Window Wall for the most light distribution.   You CAN get rid of weeds without using Chemicals that would be harmful to you or your yard. So let's observe some safe ways to keep away those stubborn weeds!   1. BLEACH: Try lightly misting some bleach over them. Just a very small amout. After 2 days, they will pull right out with ease. Try not to get any on your plants.   2. SPRAY VINEGAR: Spray Vinegar on the Weeds or unwanted Grass. Ants and other Insects will also keep away from your plants because of this. Again, just be careful not to spray directly on your plants.   3. SALT: Salt CAN rid your stubborn weeds. Recipe: Mix 1 Cup Salt with 2 Cups of Water and bring to a boil. Pour this solution directly over the Weeds to kill them. Another solution for unwanted grass is direct Salt.   4. SCRAPS AND NEWSPAPER: This is a strange o...

A Neighbor may plant a Tree well within it's bounds on their Property but sometimes the Branches may extend way beyond the line and over into your yard or over the fence. It's always good to know your rights and maintain the peace with your Neighbors at the same time by discussing solutions with your Neighbors if you have this problem.   If you have to inform your neighbor they might take it upon themselves to be more aware of the issue and they may trim up the tree to prevent Branch Damage and mess on your property. But if you have inconsiderate Neighbors that just don't care and won't work with you then my 1st thought would be, "Is it okay to trim the Branches from my Neighbor's Tree that is hanging over into my yard?" I have been in this situation before and, The Answer is: YES! BY ...

1. Drawing on the Walls!: All kids at some point have done this. The greatest invention for prevention is the Washable Crayon. SOLUTION: Always invest in Washable Crayons for our precious little ones in case they decide to treat the doors and walls like a coloring book to give us a nice surprise....Or..if you really want to turn them loose, let them do their art work in a space or room provided so they cannot draw the whole corner of the home. A designated Art Room for Coloring only. If you do not have Children and have not experienced this, these may be helpful tips if you are babysitting for a close friend, or for when your nieces and nephews come over to visit.   2. Toys in the Toilet: Here's another one I believe all kids have done. Sometimes the cause of plumbing problems are from...

  1. Double Key Deadbolts are very helpful to prevent thieves from breaking in easily, however, Double Key Deadbolts may be dangerous in the event of an emergency such as a Fire or bad Storm. If you decide to use this, educate yourself and your Family before installing one. Keep the key close to the door in a good hiding place that's easy to remember, and that everyone has access. The door lock should be far from any windows, otherwise if someone breaks in, it would be easy to turn a regular indoor deadbolt. It would be a good idea to have an additional lock at the Top or Bottom of your door that's out of reach from a broken window. 2. Hide VALUABLES. Always make sure your valuables like Jewelry, your Wallet, Credit Cards, Watches, Cell Phones...are hidden from easy pass ways such as Te...

There's no doubt that Mosquitos are the most annoying pests and when they bite, they leave you with that itch and that sting that just doesn't seem to go away without plenty of Cortizone Cream or Calamine Lotion. It's summertime now so these annoying pests are starting to come out and about while we are trying to enjoy a good time at the River, or just simply having a BBQ on the back patio! Here are some Tips and Traps to ward off these annoying little pests: 1.Beer Traps: Funny but believe it or not, Mosquitos are attracted to those who drink Beer, and they of course are attracted to Ponds, Rivers or Stagnant still waters. So even if you don't drink beer, and say you have a pond or water in your yard, try leaving some small cups of Beer around on your patio. This makes for some great b...

#1. Nobody likes to pay more for a product than they have to.  When a home is priced above its condition then most potential buyers are immediately discouraged.  If your home is priced at the upper end of your area’s price range then the home should be ready to move in, immediately.  If a potential buyer has to replace a window  or have the carpets professionally steam cleaned, or any other minor repair or cosmetics, then the price of the home needs to be reduced or you can keep the price as is and make the necessary improvement. #2. There is no doubt how hard it is at times that some people are trying to hold down a full time job, going to School or taking care of social and personal responsibilities while keeping a home perfectly clean can be quite the stressful load.  However, most ...

SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME!   SHAMPOOING THE CARPET: Save time by moving furniture just slightly but not totally out of the room or against A wall. Place the legs of each piece back on top of small wax paper squares after shampooing. The wax paper will protect your carpet and keep the furniture legs from getting wet as the carpet dries. Open the windows to speed the drying process. WASHING THE FLOORS:   The simple way: Use a combination wash/wax floor cleaner. Don’t feel guilty about saving time! If you have wood floors, move the furniture and rugs aside, then apply a wood cleaner. WASH WALLS, CABINETS, WOOD & BASEBOARDS:  Use a sponge and hand dishwashing detergent, washing the surface in sections. A sponge mop makes it easier to reach higher spots. Use two buckets: one for dishwashing de...

Choose a border that will provide the Main Focal Point of your front yard and clear out all weeds, leaves and unwanted growth. This will make your Rock Garden much more easier to maintain by locating it centered yet away from trees and bushes. #2.  Lay down your choice of Garden Fabric. These materials including the beautiful variety Rocks for the Garden can be found at most Hardware Stores..Lowe's, Home Depot, Ace Hardware..etc. Heck...you can even go to the...

During its earliest years, Payson's Spring Rodeo was part of the National Old-Timers Rodeo Association, now known as the Senior Pro Rodeo Tour. In 1987 it became the Gary Hardt Memorial Rodeo to honor the memory of the Payson native who died in 1987. Hardt was a well-known roper. He was recognized throughout the Southwest for his bravery,  bull riding and his incredible roping talents. His rodeo career began in 1962 at the World's Oldest Continuous Rodeo in Payson. As a member of the Rodeo Cowboys Association Hardt rode bulls for about 20 years.  During the last 10 years of his work in rodeo, he became a well-established roper.   This memorial event will benefit local youth with educational and athletic achievements.  The event is coordinated by the Payson Pro Rodeo Committee, led by B...

1ST OF ALL, HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO! Before you enjoy a Margarita, having Chips and Guacomole, and wearing the Sombreros with your Amigos, check out some fun facts to help you get in the Spirit! See the interesting Research. 1.The Holiday Celebrates an unexpected victory. The day actually celebrates the Mexican Victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The Mexican Army won the battle despite being smaller and ill-equipped. 2.Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independance Day. The word has it, That might have occurred 50 years prior to the Battle of Puebla, which is celebrated September 16. 3. Amazing, but, Cinco de Mayo is actually a bigger deal in the United States, and far more parties and Festivities are thrown. In Mexico, it is observed with Battle Re-enactments, and ye...
